Here is a series of 7 pictures of my Alfred Pennyworth figure doing butler things: Cleaning, hoovering, raking leaves, chopping firewood, polishing the silver, keeping fit and doing repairwork. Click the cut to see them all! Enjoy!

(I got a retweet from Sean Pertwee who plays Alfred in "Gotham". I'm so happy he liked it!)

Today April 25th is World Penguin Day! It's when the penguins start to migrate northward.

I made another good use of the lab table! Guess I should give Ed his proper green scrubs. Wonder how difficult it could be to customize this figure. I need another desk anyway.

The heart he is holding in his hand came with the "Ice-cream Xander" I recently bought. I need to introduce him to you yet.

The knife is borrowed from Teyla, Stargate Atlantis ;) The stool is something that came with a pizza once.

This had been planned very differently. This had been planned as a comparison of the umbrella carriers Penguin (Gotham) and Missy (Doctor Who). But then I suddenly got reminded of "Singing in the Rain" and this happened ;)

Finally I can show why I needed that apron for Alfred! I had set up this scene weeks ago and on the evening before I was taking the pictures I found this apron which belongs to a Wrestling figure. Then I had to wait for it to arrive and also make it tighter for Alfred. So here comes a re-creation of one of my favorite scenes - Alfred Pennyworth cooking a good English breakfast for Jim Gordon, who was wounded and is wearing a bathrobe. It's from episode 2x17 "Into The Woods".

I once bought that stove but this is the first use it gets. It fits perfectly for Wayne Manor!

Here's Jim with breakfast, coffee and a bowl of fruits:

Bad-ass Alfred is breaking eggs with both hands simultaneously! And here's my favorite quote:

"Right, so you were framed for the murder of that other police officer. You escaped from prison, you then tracked down the man that framed you and you were promptly shot in the leg.

Right, so, answer me this Detective.

Do you have any idea how you're gonna get out of this awful pickle?"

And some screenshots for comparison, look, I even got the cutlery and the bread and the jar right:

Got another nice thing from Wrestling figures! A file cabinet. The top shelf is locked and has a button to open it, the others open just like that. Edward Nygma does a lot of searching through files in "Gotham" so I chose him for the scene (also my Jim Gordon is headless at the moment so he was not available at the moment.

Another scene from the "Gotham" pilot: First Jim gets caught by the bad guys, then Harvey too. No need to worry for them as this is the pilot, otherwise that would be a very short series LOL I love heroes who do sarcastic comments in time of peril. "Thanks for trying to help." - "Wish I hadn't." Cracks me up every time ;)

I hung them up in my kitchen today *evil laugh*

(this last guy is borrowed from "Stargate: Atlantis", I needed a mean looking muscly guy with a mask. The apron was added by me, I bought it for Alfred from a Wrestling figure)

First try with the Extreme Sets background.
Bullock and Gordon find a dead woman in a dumpster. I couldn’t decide which color I like best.

Finally I can show you what I have worked on during the past days! I made beams to match the look of the "Gotham" police precinct. It's all done from scratch. I am very happy about how they came out! Please check the step-by-step pictures behind the cut where I explain it all how I did it.

Detailed pictures about how to make the pillars behind the cut )

And here is a complete scene with desk, pillars and files:

I really enjoy reading this prequel to the "Gotham" series. It's called "Dawn of Darkness" by Jason Starr. Very well written and you can really hear the character voices.

So here's how to do a really quick, easy and lazy book ;)

I scanned and printed the cover from the real book. And figured why not use pages that are already glued together? From an old notepad for example? Just take off as many pages however thick you want your book to be, be careful to not destroy the glued part at the edge, then glue the cover around the edge and cut it. Voilá. Book done.
