John Barrowman recently posted these two pictures, one from his "Torchwood" days, the other a recent one from the "Arrow" set. I couldn't help seeing the similarity! This is another one for my comparisons collection. I probably should start another masterlist! For now you'll have to click the tag to see the others: http://dieastra.livejournal.com/tag/comparisons

I want to introduce the rest of the wave 4 Arrow figures. Malcolm Merlyn already got a post of his own here and here is now the rest. Arrow season 3, Laurel as Black Canary and Reverse Flash. Next wave will have Arrow in season 4 costume (they keep giving him a new costume every season and we keep buying new figures ;) ) and Flash from season 2 with the white symbol on his chest.

I am afraid that I won't buy anything from the announced wave after that. Have a look here if you are interested: http://www.tvinsider.com/article/92927/dc-collectibles-action-figures-supergirl-firestorm-hawkgirl-constantine-zoom/
Not one "normal" person. No Dr. Wells, no Cisco, no Caitlin, I wouldn't say no to Joe or Iris either. But instead we get all those superheroes in their costumes, from all the CW shows: Firestorm, Hawkgirl, The Atom, Supergirl, Martian Manhunter, Vixen, Constantine. I guess I ought to get Zoom at least, but I really am not much into villains. I usually don't do fight pictures and I can't use any weird aliens for the funny comics I do. Ah well. Maybe next time.

On now with the introduction of those I did buy. See all pictures and details behind the cut!

Just to get a break from all the Star Trek stuff I want to show what I bought for Malcolm Merlyn. This display is from the "Pose Skeleton" line and I couldn't resist even though it may be a bit too small for him. You even can remove the swords from the scabbards. I think the white ball thing is for cleaning.

The new Malcolm has arrived a while ago. While I am happy to have him without the hood, I think the face could have been better. It's hard to see Malcolm / John in him. Still, he will come in handy for scenes where the hood really isn't needed.

This is the "Icon Heroes DC Green Arrow TV Pen and Paper Clip Holder Novelty" Some cool Arrow merchandise I think! You can put pens and paperclips into it. I love how detailed it is.
If anyone wants it, I got it here for a fair price. Ebay wanted the double amount. So don't just fall for the first seller! https://www.amazon.com/Icon-Heroes-Green-Holder-Novelty/dp/B00X1PZM1I/ref=sr_1_30?ie=UTF8&qid=1469095515&sr=8-30&keywords=arrow
I've put some more detailed pictures behind the cut.

And some gratuitous naked Oliver Queen ;) Just for size comparison, of course.

Look who I found at Fedcon ;)

He said I should snuggle close to him - and then was surprised when I did just that! And it's the current version too, from season 4, with naked arms. Incredible costume.

That was SO to be expected! I have Arrow in season 1 costume with paint at the eyes and season 1 bow, I have Arrow in season 2 costume - basically the same, only with eye mask and different bow, soon I'll get Arrow in season 3 costume which is a bit different and now the one from season 4 got announced. Plus Barry without hood. Yay!

So that means I'll have to wait till November to being able to faithfully re-create a certain scene involving Malcolm. (And I may have to start to number my Arrows to not confuse them LOL)

I'm usually not posting too many fannish news in here, as there are many other places one can get them but this? This is BIG! It's HUGE! And something worth getting excited about.

An official twelve parts DC comic story, written by John and Carole Barrowman, about the past of "Arrow"'s Malcolm Merlyn. First as digital comic once a week, then all parts in a comic book. I can hardly wait to read it.

Here is a link with a wonderful interview and more details, and if you have seen brother and sister in other interviews before, you will read it in their voices: http://www.tvinsider.com/article/63671/arrow-the-dark-archer-malcolm-merlyn-dc-comics-series-john-and-carole-barrowman/

PS: Malcolm has sex ;) I wonder with whom? Moira, probably?

Diggle and Felicity (from "Arrow") have arrived! Sadly Felicity cannot sit down in that skirt. But both bring more hands with them, and Diggle also his weapon. But he has no upper arm cuts so he can't hold it properly with two hands. His arms are somewhat stretched out, so even if he was shooting with one hand, it would be more to the side than straight ahead? I haven't tried yet. I need to change his hands first.

The computer equipment does not come with them, it was borrowed from "Primeval".

Yay! Wave three with Felicity, Diggle, Roy and Captain Cold is not out yet, and the next one is already announced!

This time we'll get Arrow in the third season outfit (we have the first and second season already in previous waves), Reverse Flash, Black Canary (Laurel, we already have Sara), the Dark Archer without his hood and Heatwave.

Personally I look forward most to the Malcolm Merlyn figure. John Barrowman already hinted for a new figure at his recent concert tour. This is so awesome! I guess I'll have to make a hood so he can throw it off his face in a dramatic pose...

Read more about those new figures here: http://www.tvinsider.com/article/25637/first-look-new-arrow-and-the-flash-action-figures-dc-collectibles/

The way this line is going, I hope we will continue for many years! I need a Cisco figure.
