Especially for [livejournal.com profile] owensheart!

I never watched "Buffy" or "Angel" but I keep buying their figures as they are so much fun! Here we have "Ice Cream Xander". He comes with an ice cream cone, a scoop, a plate of cheese - and a single heart! (which I already used in the Ed in lab scene)
I also got this Muppets popcorn stand. It may come in handy on a fair or maybe the Gotham circus (if we ever get a Jerome figure)

As promised, the introduction post for Doctor "Bones" McCoy. He comes with moving tricorder, phaser, communicator and lots of hands like Kirk and Spock. But his best bit is the medical set! It connects to his pants via magnets. And all the items can be taken out.
And he even has the small ring! It is loose and can be put on any hand. And the Exclusive version even has the medical tunic.

I took a video of my miniature vaccuumer, washing machine and dishwasher. They all make realistic noises. So great! Please watch here:

With a little help from my friends I managed to get these awesome struts from Wrestling figures! The seller did not want to send to Germany so it had to take a detour over a British friend. After finding this initial ebay offer I looked around for others, but none were as nice as these and I always returned there.

The silver ones will go into my customized warehouse, the black ones are supposed to be steel bridges on the Gotham streets. Like where Ed was when he murdered that guy. Bullock is there to show the size.

The next picture is the original ebay offer. I managed to get the black struts off that base/ramp with brutal force. I have no need to use the red catapult to let figures fly ;) I also will have use for the other ramp and huge TV screen.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the reason why I am now a Gotham and ultimately Sean Pertwee fan. I saw this Arkham Asylum gate and thought I need it. I didn't even know what I need it for, just that I needed it. I tried to justify it for my Arrow figures, but then figured better to watch the show where it came from. And so it happened.

My, has Barbara tiny wrists! I am afraid of breaking them, but they move freely around, as you can see. The feet are very moveable as well. The knees don't do much as the skirt is too long. I hope to be able to take off her head and put her onto a different figure. This lady in red should arrive soon. Do I now also need to watch Battlestar Galactica?!? https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSTuCgOyXsgn0KOYhvAayUF-rLsl0LE0nwUbQdF6a6PLbFe0S0kSQ

Got another nice thing from Wrestling figures! A file cabinet. The top shelf is locked and has a button to open it, the others open just like that. Edward Nygma does a lot of searching through files in "Gotham" so I chose him for the scene (also my Jim Gordon is headless at the moment so he was not available at the moment.

I love when a plan comes together! On the top you see the small box I used at first for the tiny "Gotham" accessoires. It was just fine but it bothered me that I couldn't fit Penguin's umbrella into it and was afraid it would get lost. So I went to look for a box of similar size but with one long compartment. I didn't want a bigger one like I have for other fandoms, as there isn't enough to put into yet. I found one where I can put up the walls any way I want. Here's my new box!

I got the Deranged Alley set from Extreme Sets and it is most cool! Check here if you want to see what else is available: http://extreme-sets.com/

It's just cardboard but looks really good. There is a subway station, several sci-fi themed things, sewers, a haunted house, Asian paper walls... I thought this alley would go greatly with my new love for Gotham figures, and possibly also the Arrow figures.

I can't wait to play properly with it. You can set it up in many different ways.

I realized that I haven't yet properly introduced Figma David from the table museum line. I already have the Thinker and Venus de Milo.

He's very flexible. Even his hair moves! And the toes. And he comes with a second face where you even can move the eyeballs with a stick. When I did that, one popped out and rolled over the floor. I was afraid I never would find it again but I did. An experience I'd rather not repeat!

(Oh, if you knew what else I was doing these past days. But I need to wait a little longer before I can show it off)

My crafty shop got new backgrounds in! The first two, the star field and the sky with clouds, are two different sides to one cardboard. Although I think it confused Kirk and Spock immensely when I switched it for the picture.

- "It appears there is no atmosphere yet we can breathe!"

 photo DSC07003.jpg

- "What did you do now?"
- "I didn't do anything, captain."

 photo DSC07046.jpg

The third background is a worn out floor so I was thinking of something that can be photographed from above to show it off. No idea where THAT came from.

 photo DSC07092.jpg

Mop Fautneddy: HMMmmm.... that first one looks suspiciously like the Double Cluster in Perseus (NGC 869 and NGC 884),

Daniel P. Lister: 1st one:
"Well, Spock...Looks like we're lost in space"
"That would be illogical, Captain...they're The Competition"

publiusr: Captain, we were told not to return to Argo--this is for your own good.
