I just wanted to add - I thought I had already, but better safe than sorry - that I have a new Dark Archer now and it turned out that both his (and also Deadshot's) elbows are indeed moving into all directions! So please forget what I wrote above about the stiff arm. He still cannot aim straight ahead, but it is better than before.
I had ordered one for a friend and this one's joints moved much better, also the knees. So we swapped, as she does not intend to do any poses. So when you get yours, move all the joints carefully, the elbows should both turn around and also go up and down. Really amazing.
If you want to get the bow into his hand, you can open up the fingers and the thumb a bit. Someone also made me a picture so I would know which is the handle he has to hold in his hand:
