Star Trek - An easel for Kathryn

I read a wonderful fanfiction today called "Always Leaving" by MiaCooper in which Chakotay has built a painting easel for Kathryn, when they are back on Earth after the series finale. I always have loved painting and this scene spoke to me just like when the Beast showed Belle the library. So I had to illustrate it.

I even made some sawdust to go with it and a technical drawing! Needless to say, Kathryn enjoyed her gift very much.

That wall looked so empty, it needed something! At first I wanted to hang the tools there but could not figure out how.

The sawdust is mentioned specifically in the fic, what a wonderful detail. If you are a J/C shipper, I recommend reading it - all three parts (there are two that came before, but each stands on their own).
