AFT Torchwood: A Jack for everyone - updated

Some years ago I had a discussion with friends about Jack re-growing after the explosion in CoE from just an arm and shoulder. What if a leg was lying somewhere else and made another Jack?

A funny action figure story called "A Jack for everyone" was created that evening. Well, any reason I can show off my many Jack figures! I've posted it then but now updated it with actual speech bubbles, so it does look like a real comic now.

LOL one of the comments on Tumblr was "Nice, but let’s face it if there were this many Jacks, they’d be getting busy amongst themselves first."

Thank you! I am reworking them because it is much easier to post them on Tumblr that way. More visual. Downside is that I have to cut them down to 10 pictures which is not always easy. This one was an instant hit, 90 notes already.

Well, I think people on tumblr might be right! :D

Pardon my tumblr, but does "notes" means likes, reblogs, or anything else?

Likes and reblogs combined, yes. Usually I only get likes, but this particular story has gotten a high number of reblogs also, and of course the more reblogs, the more people see it and then reblog it again. And if you are very lucky, you even get a comment with the reblog, but that is very rare sadly. This is why I prefer comments on LJ.

Sometimes people like it first and reblog it then, so that makes two notes ;)

Thanks for the clarification :) I use tumblr mostly as a source of gifs and links, and sometimes people are first to spread fandom news there so I watch a few. Reblogs and likes are nice but as you say, there's nothing better than an actual conversation and tumblr doesn't look like a good place to have it.

Have you seen though that you now can write to anyone on Tumblr? I think that is a big improvement! Before, you needed to follow someone for 48 hours before you could contact them. Now you can open a chat window with anybody. It's still no comment function, but at least I can talk with someone if I want to.
