The only reason to go to this convention was John Barrowman. I did either not know or not care for the others that were there. And I did in general not care for all the comics and comic artists and professional cosplayers. But John alone and his panels were worth the weekend (and some other guy that I will show you yet).
First day I asked for a "nice prom photo" and then John took over. "Stand to the side, put your hand here, put your other hand there..."
Next day I was back in my jeans ;) I had seen this pose at a convention a few years back and it was still missing from my collection. Cheeky ;)
And then we realized that with all our hugs and bum-up-front pictures we actually have none that shows the awesome Dalek Pride shirt John wore. So we went back into line to buy one more picture. My friend was before me and explained what she wanted, and when it was my turn John just asked: "Same?" and I answered: "Same." That's all it took. We are getting very professional there ;)

But the Dalek Pride shirt is awesome, and I've never seen it before! Now I have to find out where I can buy one.

We have tried to find the shirt but only found similar ones so far, not this exact one. I wonder if he bought it at the convention. They may have not an online shop. Did you know that Germany got same sex marriage law at the Friday before the con? John talked about it on stage. He said this is actually the fourth time he was in a place when they got the law at the same weekend. He must travel more then ;)

Yeah, I think he knows me by now, also with the action figure and stuff I have gaven him over the years. We don't talk much though, I never know how to have a meaningful conversation in just a few minutes. I don't know how my friend does it, she just chats away.
At the first picture, the camera was broken, so we stood there with him and another girl, waiting for it to be fixed. He was yawning and quite tired (jet lag). You can't see it on the pics though! He even asked the other girl to massage his shoulders and she did, but not very hard. Not sure if it helped much.

The shirt was awesome. I wonder if he bought it at the con.
And to top it off, at the same weekend Germany got same sex marriage! Yay! John says this is the fourth time that he is in a place at the same time they make this law. Must be him ;)

Lovely dress, as well as the Dalek t-shirt. John's t-shirt's great, too, I haven't seen that one yet. Can't believe you youched his bum and let him touch yours! I'd be too shy to ask :D

I only had bought one for each day as I am still in the red after the May convention, and since I already have so many with John. I also did not get an autograph this time, which would have been another 50 Euro. In Birmingham at the stage door I can get them for free!
At my first con, one picture was included in the con ticket, but you were able to buy more. I thought, one is enough, and could not understand why anyone would want more. Then I saw the results lying on a table, and understood. John does so many funny poses, with leg up and bum touching and whatever. So at the next con, I knew to buy several ;) So I have touched his bum before actually, in Peterborough. He even grabbed my hands then and put them tighter. You don't need to be shy to ask, it's him that does it ;)
I've also touched the bum in the double sandwich picture with me between John and Gareth, but sadly you cannot see it as the photographer only did a portrait.
Happy you like the dress! All my pictures are always in jeans and t-shirt, I wanted something different this time. I am already dreaming about a dancing pose with Sean...

I also wanted to say how good the quality is compared to some we see - excellent colour and sharpness. Well done all round :)

Apparently the shirt was custom made so no way to buy it anywhere. I think a lot would get it, it's really great! Also, the same weekend that convention was held, we did get the same sex marriage law in Germany so of course that was a theme he talked about on stage!
This con was run by the same people who do Fedcon, which has been around for 25+ years so yeah, they know what they're doing. However, the first picture with the dress actually looks a bit dark in reality. I had to lighten it up after scanning. The others from next day were better.
