Did you try to use perspective? To put smaller figures closer to the camera and bigger ones further from it? That's how they made Hagrid look bigger in Harry Potter films. I don't know if it works with full shots though.

I still see Bruce as a kid even though he's a teenager now...so I'm ok with the height difference.
