Gotham: Alfred and the letter rack

So here is the first picture with some of the lovely things from the care package! When I saw the letter rack I knew immediately who would use it.

I only owned the letters before, everything else is new:

letters1

letters3

letters4

By Johnny R: "While not a Brit I feel the confusion comes from crossing classes. Sherlock Holmes rented from a woman who no doubt would gather his mail and put it in such a mail slot for him to gather. At Wayne Manor there was no such need as Alfred would open and sort the mail, dispose of crap and bring what mattered to the attention of the addressee. I want an Alfred..."

Oh cool! I can't see the entry about the care package though. I think you have to add me to your f-list.

Done! Does it work now?
Sorry. I made the post friends only as I was not sure if you wanted it to be seen by everyone.

Glad you like the scene!

Lots of cute little things to play with! I used to have a letter holder like that before I moved but it was so old it was warping so I'm in search of a new one to hold letters now.

Oh really, I didn't know they were still in use! I have one that is standing on my desk, where you can store letters in. But I never saw one hanging on the wall, other than when we were in the Sherlock Holmes museum in London. Top had the letters and bottom had a newspaper inside.

When you find one, please show me!

Had that letter holder for so long I can't even remember when I got it...thus it's so old I should not have been surprised at the warping. Sadly they are hard to find now..no luck yet but if I do I will definitely show you.
