Stargate SG-1: Just stand there and look pretty*
After a long time I took out my Stargate figures again. Looking back at the pictures I took back then, they would have been so much better had I already discovered the photo cardboards with ground and sky.
*note: Something a friend yelled at Richard Dean Anderson when he came to the convention stage in Vancouver and was confused as what to do while hundreds of photo cameras clicked

Stargate is where it all started, my first figures. You probably have looked at them already, but here is the list for them again: https://dieastra.livejournal.com/24280.html
There are some more that I did before I joined LJ and never posted here, and now I don't dare as they look so outdated. I have come a long way since. And most people would not understand them if they hadn't watched the episodes. They were only for fans.

I will always have fond memories of those old pictures because many were taken together with fan friends, and we had so much fun doing it! Nowadays I play mostly alone, and can plan beforehand. Back then sometimes things we had not planned happened, and that also was great.
Thank you for the praise! I am looking at other people's pictures at Instagram and also Tumblr, and it always blows my mind how many creative people are out there. And each has their own style. I have become friends with some of them, and I am still learning a lot.
I will never tire of this, as with so many different figures and fandoms it never gets boring. And even if I am not a fan of Star Wars or military or superheros I can still enjoy the craftmanship.
