Star Trek - Skiing and sledding

I have a friend on Twitter who is always decorating the shop window of her local pharmacy. Easter, carnivale, Christmas... and last week she did a winter theme with skiing. Check out the pictures here:

A long long time ago a friend had made little skis for me, from coffee stirrers but I never have done anything with them as I did not like the skiing poles which were just straws.

So I got inspired and I went to look whether I could find something better in my stash. The metal rods are from file folders I believe. I also tried out spaghetti as they were lighter for Chakotay to hold up in the air.

The hill, made from styrofoam, without the "snow":

The snow I use is a sheet that sometimes new technology things come wrapped in:

The little slalom posts I made with tooth pricks and paper for the flags:

Thank you! I just put the whole thing up again (after already having taken it down) to make two more ;)

Also, we just had a thunderstorm and snow storm, so there might be real snow for me to take pictures in tomorrow!

The whole set is really cute! It's one of my recent favorites!

Aw, thank you! Sorry for sometimes being so late with replies, I have so many ideas and want to get them out that I am already at the next. I never understood how actors are talking about their new movie at the premiere of the previous one, I thought they should sit back and enjoy this one for a little time, but that's not how it works!

I do love hearing that my pictures are enjoyed though.

I hope you are still well? Or considerably well, at least.
