They are wonderful, and they come with lots of little things like the violin or the notebook and phones of course. Check out my post here, which has lots of really great pictures:

At the same company (Big Chief) I also ordered the Eleventh and the Tenth Doctor and soon I will get a Weeping Angel and they also plan a Moriarty for Sherlock.
Big Chief is a new company, I also bought their Elventh and Tenth Doctor who are equally awesome. They also come with lots of extras, Sherlock has his violin for example and a phone and Watson has a cane and a laptop. Further available are the First Doctor and the Fourth Doctor and also Amy, and I already ordered a Weeping Angel and soon there will be a Moriarty for Sherlock. That's it so far, it takes time to develop these, but they are worth their money.
They are indeed, and they come with so many great little extras! I love especially John's laptop and Sherlock's violin.
Can't wait to play properly with them. Shame only that I did not have Sherlock yet when I went to the convention with Benedict Cumberbatch. I would have loved to have him in my picture.
(Have you seen his ice bucket challenge btw.? Awesome. As is John Barrowman's and many more. I linked them all here: http://dieastra.livejournal.com/113180.html)
They are totally utterly awesome! And they come with lots of details like the violin and the laptop, which can be even opened. I can't wait to play properly. Standing is an issue though, they keep falling over. Poor Watson has hit his nose on my hard kitchen table already. Hope he didn't break anything.
Yes you can ;) I haven't tried yet as I assume it will be hard to get the coat back on Sherlock (I also have trouble getting the coat and the jacket back on Ten).
I saw someone did already the "Sherlock in just a bedsheet" pictures LOL Can you see them?
I followed the making of those very closely and already when we got the first pictures of the heads, without any paint, they looked awesome. Their (Big Chief's) Doctors are equally great, I have the Tenth and the Eleventh Doctor and they also look so real. I don't mind spending money for something that is good.
Sherlock comes with his little violin and lots of other things, so cute. I need to play with them properly.
They look really good! Might be hard to pose them though, they tend to fall over. At the moment they are sitting comfortable at a Barbie sofa and look rather cute LOL
LOL You are absolutely right! That's why I used a brown clothe to at least cover it a bit so it does not look all pink and flowery. I'm not entirely happy about it either. There are some really great modern 1:6 scale sofas out there but they are quite expensive! I'll see what I can do about the issue.
If you don't know my sofa yet, you can see it here in these pictures: http://dieastra.livejournal.com/40567.html
I also did a post back when I ordered them, this one has more links with pictures.
Edit: Link of the post: http://dieastra.livejournal.com/75610.html
When they are posed, they look like the real thing, and they come with lots of extras. My favourite is Watson's laptop, it looks so real. And Sherlock comes with violin and both with their phones.
It's a bit pricey but so worth it. I already bought the Tenth and Eleventh Doctor from this page, and they will do a Moriarty as well. Personally, I hope for a Captain Jack Harkness one day!
Yeah, I didn't really think much about buying fandom stuff. Plus . . . they are completely out of my financial range. As in, never could I buy something this expensive that has zero practical use :/ Even if I wanted to.
Well, for me they have use, as I belong to that FB group where we set up scenes with our action figures, and we have lots of other stuff as well - I recently bought umbrellas which are awesome - but I want to get them out of the package, I want to feel the clothes, to undress them (someone did even the Sherlock in a sheet scene). I could not understand someone buying them to just leave them in the box. But yeah, they are rather expensive. I hope they make a Jack Harkness one day. I also have the Tenth and Eleventh Doctor from the same company.
There is a great Sherlock case book as merchandise, if you are more into that.
True, you're doing lovely things with yours :) Of course I didn't mean to imply they weren't useful to you - it's just that I'd do nothing but have them stand here and look at them, and while I'd love to, I can't spend money on that.
Did they make all the Doctors?
And yes, a case book sounds more like my thing *g* I'll look into that, thank you!
I need to wait yet till an inspiration strikes me. When I got them, everyone already had done the usual pics of Sherlock with his violin, so I did not want to add to that. They already promised us a Moriarty and also a Mycroft, so my collection will yet grow!
They have done the Eleventh, Tenth, Fourth and First Doctor. They intend to do all over time. They also have done Amy and I signed up for a Weeping Angel which we hopefully will soon get. I didn't buy the classic Doctors as I haven't seen much of them, but might be interested if we got Nine, or Donna, or River maybe.
Well, I wanted to give you a German Amazon link for the case book, but OMG they have translated it! I guess you'd rather want the English version? Anyway, that is what I am talking about and there is a button for a look into the book, so you can see how well done it is: http://www.amazon.de/Sherlock-Die-Fallsammlung-Guy-Adams/dp/3868833560/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1412159639&sr=1-1&keywords=sherlock
But I am amazed that they really translated it, all those handwritten notes and fonts could have not been easy? The layout is really beautiful.
Be careful not to buy any book with Benedict Cumberbatch on the title, as I have found they have re-relased the old Conan-Doyle books, with just Benedict or Martin at the cover, and with a foreword by Moffat. But otherwise, it is the same old stories. As far as I know, there are no new stories / books printed.

But the real question is, are they anatomically correct? :D (For that price, the answer should be yes!)

I have to say, they are some of the best facial representations I've ever seen on character dolls, fantastic.
