Oh my, what a huge box! 64 rolls! I won't have to buy toilet paper anytime soon again. And there is a hamster on it, and a plush hamster on top! Too cute!

Because in Germany it is called "hamstern" when you hoard stuff in the pandemic - like toilet paper. This is a special edition and I had to get it just for the fun of it ;)

I'm not going to start a Jurassic Park collection... I'm not going to start a Jurassic Park collection... Whoops, I guess I am starting a Jurassic Park collection! At least Ian Malcolm won't feel alone anymore.

Introducing: Dennis Nedry with Barbasol can, and Dilophosaurus from the Amber Collection by Mattel. You can even change his head, and yes, the arrow at the sign post spins around! And you can take out the dinosaur embryos from the can. So what's not to like?

About time I introduced some of my newest hauls - I bought so much that Ebay put a limit on me in June LOL
Now to think up funny stories how to use them!

I was looking for something else on ebay and then always look what else the seller has. Couldn't pass those wonderful animals!

I haven't yet properly introduced the Matrix staircase. Here is a picture what it's supposed to look like when fully assembled:
https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51%2BxhesTSUL._AC_.jpg

And you already saw it in my picture here: https://dieastra.livejournal.com/348128.html

I don't mind some pieces missing as I only wanted the stairs anyway. The figures are well done in detail but stuck in their pose. There is limited articulation but what else could you do with them? Although I think I just got an idea...

Introduction: I recently got the Playmates Val Jean Maquis Raider. Who knew that Janeway likes to play with action figures as well? Isn't little Chakotay cute? LOL

Some Star Trek: Voyager costume cards have arrived in the mail! They are all pieces of the Maquis uniform Robert Beltran / Chakotay wore in the pilot episode "Caretaker".
Being able to touch the costume he wore is almost as good as touching the man himself, no? ;)
The first is like leather, the others a very scratchy woven material. Hopefully it was not itchy to him!

I saw this Ian Malcolm on a friend's Instagram and couldn't resist. There are many others in different sizes out there, but the small ones look cheap and don't have much articulation. This is the first that I thought looks really good. He's 6" and comes from the new "Amber collection".

I'm not into any other Jurassic Park stuff but a girl gotta do what a girl gotta do! Who can resist Jeff Goldblum? I'm sure we'll have fun together.

I have been eyeing this for years, finally I got the Diamond Select Toys Marvel Select Black Cat set for a good price loose.

Mainly for the diorama with the American style window that can be opened. Our windows here are much different, they whole window fully opens sideways, or you can just tilt the top to let in a little air.
I also love the stack of money and all the other things going into the safe.

And at the outside you can put Spiderman onto the wall:

I bought this back in May but kept it for today. November 9th, 30 years anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Do you know these wooden animals where you push a button and they flop down? Similar concept. Best Berlin souvenir ever!

Another car purchase!

I was told to get a Bratz car for my 7" figures and now this is a nice one! It even has a functioning radio but I haven't tried it out yet. The seatbelt even opens!

So I got the Jack Slater convertible from "Last Action Hero". I actually remember having gone to the cinema at the time. I'm old.
It's a bit small for my bigger figures but I saw it linked on an Instagram account, followed to the youtube review and then got it for...

...that fifth wheel which is simply awesome as...

02-Slater

...it then can drive on only two wheels!

You also can let the trunk flip open and dynamite shot out...

But I do wonder about why the plastic looks so weird? Is that normal? Is it supposed to look like that? I don't think, some areas are smooth but some look like crumbled paper. When you touch it it's smooth though, it's inside. paint not mixed properly? Or falling apart over time?

The car was mint in box, still glued together, never opened. So nothing the seller could have known or done, but it kinda irks me.

I was looking online for something, don't remember what. Instead I stumbled about this and once I realized it lits up there was no way I was not getting it!

It's called TriForce Arkham Origins Joker Collectible Statue - I believe it also came with a game? I have no idea about these things. So is this a scene from the game? I just wanted the background anyway.

These pictures were taken when it just had arrived and it is still dusty.

Joker1

I love the little details, how the carpet folds over the floorboards. (yes, that green figure in the back is supposed to be without head. At first I thought it was broken)

Joker2

Joker3

All the items are glued tightly and cannot be removed.

Joker4

It arrived with one of the screens broken (which was NOT in the ebay description!) I was looking for a way to open it at the backside, but it seems to be one solid piece. I was able though to put some glue around the edge and then turn it with it front downwards so it would just fall back in place and thankfully it holds now. If it had gotten completely loose and fallen inside there was nothing I could have done.

Joker7

Joker8

Even the backside is crafted wonderfully!
The box on the left opens and there are the batteries stored and the light switch.
You'll see three gum plugs. I don't know what they are for or what I would gain to remove them. There is one hole which is missing the plug. But no screws to take it apart. Although the middle upper part also arrived loose from the boxes below. But you could see that it was glued so I inserted the plugs back into the holes and did glue it back.

The small TVs at the left should have antennas, you can see that in the youtube videos. Little plastic things that came extra and needed to be inserted.

Back in October and November I bought another round of dollhouse stuff. Everytime I think now I have everything I find something new. The Halloween stuff is from a British girl but the rest from Chinese sellers. They are getting rather good and are still rather cheap.

These are for you [livejournal.com profile] dustbunny105!

So I built Tower Bridge today. I bought it in the shop of the real Tower Bridge back in 2012 so it was about time!
Just connecting pieces, no glue.

Now I wonder what other London landmarks there might be in this series?

Today's Wrestling Hauls: Did you know there is something called "Bash at the Beach"? Yeah, I didn't either. This is Kane, I got him for his nice chest and because he does not wear short pants. I intend to switch his head for others if I need a naked guy. The beach ball is awesome!

Bash_at_the_Beach

The trombone is also a Wrestling accessory. I'm always amazed with which things they can hurt each other! I intend to paint it all golden.

Look what I bought today! And the best part is, I can actually use them as storage boxes. One can never have too many boxes. But of course I bought them for the play value.

I don't even watch the show (should I?) but I figured it's always good to have a sheriff in town! He only comes with gun and coffee pot (and a stand), but I like the small details on his uniform.

Introduction post for the Muppets kitchen playset:

Many drawers and doors can be opened, and there is a ton of accessories!
The second picture has two clear bowls (difficult to see them in the upper left corner) there should be a middle bowl, and also a butcher's knife but everything else is there.
Plus I can even use the underside of the floor piece as backdrop for something technical / spaceship ;)

Win-Win!
