Let's say they endure my enthusiasm ;) One guy (younger than me) is into Star Trek and also Stargate and so I show him my collections in a bit more detail and sometimes we have a geek talk. The older ones are more amused but still impressed with what I do.
And then there was the woman who in the middle of me showing the Sherlock figures enthusiastically, asked me if I could also iron. I was so perplexed, I had no answer as I had no idea what this had to do with anything? And her reply (recently divorced and in love with a new guy) was: "Men like women who can iron and cook" or something like that. And she really isn't that much older than me actually.
I have no idea how she got the impression that I even was on the search for a man. I'm still puzzled.
