I always wondered what would happen if Malcolm Merlyn / Dark Archer from "Arrow" and Indiana Jones had a scimitar fight. Who would win? Well, if you know Indy, you know the solution to the problem ;)

Just to get a break from all the Star Trek stuff I want to show what I bought for Malcolm Merlyn. This display is from the "Pose Skeleton" line and I couldn't resist even though it may be a bit too small for him. You even can remove the swords from the scabbards. I think the white ball thing is for cleaning.

Explanation: Something bothered me about the kidnapping of William by Malcolm Merlyn this Arrow season.

In one episode, we see the boy arrive at the new house, not frightened at all, and just goes playing with the girl. Apparently he was told Darhk is a friend of his mother.

But in the next episode his mother says she was downstairs making dinner, and William was up in his room, and when she called him he had just vanished. So how did Malcolm do that, with a missing hand even? Something doesn’t add up. So I wanted to poke a bit of fun at it ;)

I mean, it would have been so much easier to get William on his way to school, with no mother around! (although, now that I think about it, in America children probably don’t walk to school but get driven by their parents to the front door)

PS: Note the tiny Arrow and Flash figures in the foreground!

This week's Arrow episode "Eleven-Fifty-Nine" had a magic idol that can give a bad guy bad powers. And they kept it right where he would be able to find and steal it. Here is my idea how the whole thing could have gone differently!

Everyone congratulates the Dark Archer:

My custom made LEGO Dark Archer has arrived! And you get him with two faces. You can either display him with hair or with the mask, bow and arrows on the back.
In my mind, Jack Harkness and Malcolm Merlyn are the same person, so here is Jack with his "other self" in a glass case, ready whenever he needs the uniform (I should do more with the small Doctor Who figures, they are so cute)

Now comes a really silly picture. I apologize in advance for the silliness. Like the “mummy” pic it was inspired by a discussion with my friends. I would have posted it yesterday, but Photobucket was acting up.

“Arrow” was back yesterday night. Some friends and I have just been silly, pretending we’ve never before heard of this show and wondering what it could be about. Has it pirates? You know, because of “Arrr!” - “Ow!” But then I heard them mention a Queen… and Speed(y) - drugs? There is also a canary - an animal show? Or a fashion show - there was a well dresssed man? And how does Captain Dark Archer from the Enterprise fit in with all this? Leaves me scratching my head ;)

I’m not exactly sure how we came from Arrow to “a row of rubber ducks” and Oliver and Malcolm rowing gently down the stream, but that was when I decided that I have enough of the ingredients to throw this quick picture together. Be careful what you wish for!

The new "Arrow" season starts on October 7th (as well as "American Horror Hotel", I will be so busy) so I need to get back into the mood. Just a quick something. Oliver Queen borrowed the easel and equipment from Vincent van Gogh Do you see now why I need a Neal Caffrey figure?
