Watching "Around the World in 80 Days" has brought me back into David Tennant mood, massively! I'll make sure to not lose him from my sight again this time. According to his IMDB, some great projects are coming our way. It's a good time to be a fan!

I just started watching "There she goes", which I had wanted to do for a long time. Heartbreaking.

Anyway, I got the Doctor out again for a story, after a long time! This is the Happy Birthday story for the friend who saw him first in ATWI80D, and he won her heart as I thought he would. Was there any doubt? No, I don't think so either.

Introduction of the Third Doctor, especially for [livejournal.com profile] alumfelga !
I think he looks really great.
I only have some minor quibble, as on one side of the overcoat you can see the red of the inside on the outside, it is not sewn in a neat line. They told me to send it back to get a new one but I am afraid of losing it so I won't do that. He'll have to live with it.

Need to get out my snow pictures before Spring fully hits. I took these last Sunday when we still had plenty.
Never let it be said I'm not doing anything with my Doctor Who figures anymore [livejournal.com profile] alumfelga! Hope you like them.

Happy New Year! The Doctor is not in the mood for celebration but the Dalek insists.

Star Trek / Doctor Who Christmas party!
Kirk flirts with Rose, Ten is not amused, Scotty fills Nine's glass, Eleven relaxes by the fireplace, Spock & Bones tend the bar.

Edit: This picture was done for the challenge word "Party Hearty" and I won 1st place!

"Come on, Brigadier, I'll show you the universe!"
- "Blimey, looks like we arrived before we even left. That will tear the space time continuum."

I made this for Jon Pertwee's birthday wo was born today on July 7th exactly 100 years ago.

Sometimes you need an old fashioned tool to get the job done.
Scotty inherited this ancient toolbox from his grandfather. Now let's see what's under the hull?

The Doctor had a Pyjama Christmas party. His guest feels slightly overdressed.
"It could be worse. I could have told you it was an Ugly Christmas Sweater party!"

Done for the Sixth Scale Universe competition "Very Scary". As usual, I had a hard time to decide on a color. Blue won in the end. The Doctor Who clockwork man.

"You want weapons? We're in a library. Books are the best weapon in the world. This room's the greatest arsenal we could have. Arm yourself!"

from Doctor Who episode 2x02 "Tooth and Claw"

They met Queen Victoria, and they were chased by a Werewolf looking for weapons. That's when they ended up in the library.

Another one in my search for different uses for the library!
Previous library posts are here:
Sherlock Holmes
Wolverine
Alfred

There will be one more, pictures already done. Question: Who is the best person to put into a library? Well? LOL

In this post I already showed some of my boxes where I sort all miniature things in. But it was only general stuff, I did not show the fandom stuff, other than the big Stargate SG-1 box.

So here's the rest! I'll put up some explanations with links if you want to see the items close-up.
Click the cut, obviously!

And the latest addition, a small Wolverine box for the 1:6 Wolverines. Soon another one will join the collection. It's a jewelry box actually but who needs jewelry? I am addicted to boxes, obviously!

Ah, I forgot the Gotham box! But it already has its own post here
It's the tiniest of all my boxes.

Today I put together my pyjama Ten. I only had to buy the body - I got the head with the Ninth Doctor, the pyjama and slippers with the TARDIS and the bathrobe with Rose. The sword and satsuma are not original, they don't exist yet, we expect to get them with Jack.

I did not even have to heat the head, it popped in just like that. Look at his manly chest! They even painted freckles onto the hands!

I also tried to have the bathrobe closed but it looks better open. I guess I need to rewatch "The Christmas Invasion" now!

Rose has arrived! What do you think? There has been a lot of complaints about the face sculpt, but I have no complaints, even though I clearly remember thinking how awful it was two years ago.

I love the chain of the TARDIS key, a proper chain, different than the one that came with the Ninth Doctor.

For this month's Sixth Scale Universe competition we are asked to show our kitbashed figures. These are my only two.

Dragon Jamie (Classic Adam) as Ianto and Max Steel as Jack Harkness from "Torchwood" and "Doctor Who". For fun I also incorporated a shoutout to John Barrowman's other iconic role as Malcolm Merlyn / Dark Archer in "Arrow".

The Detolf needed Spring cleaning and I told them that I am not their mother and they are big enough to do it themselves.
Note how Sherlock made himself scarce.
