Introduction of the Third Doctor, especially for [livejournal.com profile] alumfelga !
I think he looks really great.
I only have some minor quibble, as on one side of the overcoat you can see the red of the inside on the outside, it is not sewn in a neat line. They told me to send it back to get a new one but I am afraid of losing it so I won't do that. He'll have to live with it.

And some crossover fun! I noticed they have the same magnifier ;)

"Your clock is one hour ahead, Holmes."
"No, Watson, I'm already on daylight saving time. Don't forget to change yours too!"

You heard it, people! (only those that it concerns of course)

It's been almost a year since I took these pictures and I just realized that I have posted them everywhere but here.
This is the Big Chief Studios Abominable Bride set, you can see more details and accessoires here: https://dieastra.livejournal.com/321980.html

The "The Abominable Bride" Set from Big Chief Studios has arrived. In this episode modern Sherlock had a dream that played in Victorian England.
With special hands pictures for [livejournal.com profile] hamsterwoman ;) Although the extra hair piece for John is even more weird. He needs it so he can wear his hat properly.

Details under the Cut )

For [livejournal.com profile] dustbunny105 to encourage her to be a bit more German ;)

In this post I already showed some of my boxes where I sort all miniature things in. But it was only general stuff, I did not show the fandom stuff, other than the big Stargate SG-1 box.

So here's the rest! I'll put up some explanations with links if you want to see the items close-up.
Click the cut, obviously!

Many boxes behind the cut )

And the latest addition, a small Wolverine box for the 1:6 Wolverines. Soon another one will join the collection. It's a jewelry box actually but who needs jewelry? I am addicted to boxes, obviously!

09_Wolferine

Ah, I forgot the Gotham box! But it already has its own post here
It's the tiniest of all my boxes.

I did a follow-up for my picture with Wolverine and the computer keyboard. This was the next logical step.
The other one was here: https://dieastra.livejournal.com/294954.html

The Detolf needed Spring cleaning and I told them that I am not their mother and they are big enough to do it themselves.
Note how Sherlock made himself scarce.

My local newspaper "Sächsische Zeitung" had very nice written article about me and my figures today and even showed some of my own pictures. Title: "Sightseeing with Captain Kirk". Of course my figures were very interested in it as well!

CG Galpal: Our local newspaper has downsized also, just not so much! :) Well done, Antje! I love your fandom mashups!

Today I have a double feature for all the "Sherlock" fans! First, have you seen that google maps now has added inside pictures to North Gower Street? You can view Sherlock's flat in 360° and also walk into the kitchen. Here's the link:

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/N+Gower+St,+Kings+Cross,+London+NW1+2NN/@51.5262565,-0.1368584,3a,47.9y,296.13h,58.19t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1suhT4RVHIknAAAAQvxSEq1g!2e0!7i13312!8i6656!4m5!3m4!1s0x48761b26385ff313:0xea9dd0c978cb6767!8m2!3d51.5275523!4d-0.1380127!6m1!1e1

A while ago I also saw the inside of the TARDIS when you click at the one at Earl's Court.

Secondly, in last week's "Sherlock" episode "The lying Detective" an eagle eyed fan found a postcard from "Torchwood" on the mantelpiece. Here you can see a screenshot: http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2017-01-14/did-you-spot-the-torchwood-easter-egg-in-sherlock

So of course I had to react to that! So I created this:

My quest on finding unusual uses for the Baker Street door continues (just posing Sherlock in front of it is boring, everyone's doing that) so I let Kirk and Spock have a little vacation trip!
