AFT Star Trek: Colorful backgrounds (plus I'm famous)

Today I invested in some colorful backgrounds. I was aiming for the artificial studio light in the scenes on a planet that were shot in a studio. Especially the purple one was inspired by screenshots I saw on Tumblr of the episode "That which survives". That's so cool! I think that blue-green background is amazing.

Did you take a Photoshop class to learn how to use it? I don't have the program but I've been thinking about it.
