Customizing: Wall panel

My neighbour wanted to throw away this picture frame. I asked if I could use it. I am imagining inserting Asian wand panels and create a nice background for my Malcolm Merlyn figure. Or probably insert pictures of a city skyline and use it as window. I think it can be changed into many things, especially as the frames can be turned like doors. What do you think?

For the following pictures, I bought a folder with different colored rainbow paper, then looked at each sheet and tried to find out which theme would fit them best. This is what I came up with. There will be two more in a second post.

PS: I used to be so creative :(
