Previously - Part 1: Changing The Doctor into Hamlet - bare arms

Previously - Part 2: Feet for my Hamlet figure

I needed to make the shirt longer, as it is going over the jeans. The original figure had a hip joint which is now lost because I put Milliput over it.

Took me also a long time to mix the right color for the shirt. I hope I got it right.

It also occured to me that I need to change the suit pants into jeans. So I added front pockets

backside pockets

and pants/trousers cuffs.

Next week I will have fun trying to get the picture on the shirt - oy!

On to the next part: Both Hamlets finished!

What do they say? - Clothes make the man. And I would say, colours make the clothes ;). The T-Shirt looks great (although I guess the hardest part is yet to come :P ). I've read it is in fact a bright red, but the colours of the movie version have been tuned down. Which also reduces the contrast between the shirt colour and the print (which last I think is an improvement *cough*). You'll give us a movie-Hamlet, then :).

Do I need to say that the fleshy parts look very lively, now? I can't wait to see him for real. And I can't wait to see him finished. I already do love these little trouser cuffs you made - d'aw.

Oh really, bright red in theatre? Interesting! I was searching the internet high and low for pictures, but most you can find are in the tux, not many in the shirt. I agree though, I like this toned down version also better.

I forgot to add that I also painted the face, so it would match the color of arms and feet. That was quite difficult.

Very glad that I remembered the jeans details in time. Actually I only wanted to paint the pants blue an be done with it. Might have looked odd.

I'm really looking forward to March! So, how's the flute(s) going? And the sword? Do I need to buy those plastic swords? If I only remembered where I put the other one...

Now that ... er ... a few weeks have passed, I can proudly state that the recorder(s - just the one so far) and sword are doing fine. I had to do something for carnival that had to be finished first - the motto would have been something for you: Broadway. Meaning musical theatre. Although I honestly doubt just anyone of them has ever heard something about John Barrowman. A pitty.
Anyway, if still unpainted, I have now one recorder Well, it's the same as before but now equipped with holes) and one sword, and will hopefully be able to show you a pic tomorrow.
