Model of Torchwood SUV - second step

Today I made the doors and the sides of the SUV. I glued the paper model to cardboard. I cut out the doors seperatedly, because I want to make them being able to open. As you can see, originally there were pictures of Jack, Ianto, Gwen, Tosh and Owen in the windows, but I cut them out and replaced it with clear plastic.





I cut out the doors larger than necessary, to be able to bring the paper all around till the back. Otherwise at the side the white of the cardboard would shine, when they are open. I couldn't do the same for the inside of the windows, so I just used a black pen for those.



Next step: Connecting the doors with the frame of the car. As for the back door, I actually need to make a frame it can be connected to yet. Wonder how I'll do that...

Thank you! I'm afraid it will take a long time yet. The more I look at it, the more details I see I want to get it right. I could have just done the ordinary papercraft model, but it would have been very flat. So I want to add more shapes.
