Video of John Barrowman recording his CD. I was not there the day it was filmed, but I was in the studio for four of the songs, and I can't wait for the CD to arrive. It was an amazing and very intimate experience. I almost didn't dare to breathe. Guess that also means I should probably get my report finished.

War bestimmt eine tolle Erfahrung, während der Aufnahmen im Studio zu sein, ob nun bei diesem Song oder anderen ist egal.

Ich bin so happy, dass wir in unserem Chor zwei Lieder von JB singen, You Raise Me Up und From The Distance. Meine Mitsängerinnen können gar nicht verstehen, warum ich diese Songs schon auswendig kann.

Ich habe die Songs "Loch Lomond", "Listen to the music", "Mandy" und "Hollywood" gehört und gesehen. Es war wirklich eine tolle Erfahrung und ich hab auch einen Report geschrieben, den ich noch veröffentlichen werde. Da beschreibe ich den ganzen Prozess ausführlicher, wie sie sich durch die Songs gearbeitet haben und immer wieder, bis es perfekt war.

Oh, Du bist in einem Chor? Cool! Ich singe auch sehr gern, nur leider nicht sehr gut ;) Das macht mir aber nichts. Ich bin wie John, gib mir ein Stichwort und ich singe Dir einen Song dazu. Grade mit Wise Guys Texten geht das wunderbar.

It is and I can't wait for the CD to finally arrive. It will be awesome. Just listening to those little snippets brought me back into the studio. We had huge headphones and had his voice RIGHT in our ears, it was so close and personal.

Not sure if we were friends already at the time, but I once did a post with all the songs that will be on the album - he posted little videos where he sang a bit of them - check it out if you are curious which songs will be on this CD. Since it was crowdfounded instead of a music label, he was able to select the ones he likes to sing and knows his fans will love, and even though I love the other three CDs of him as well, I think this will be the best one ever. Lucky you got to hear him that intimately. Must have been awesome. He seems like a genuinely nice person for a 'celeb'.

He said in an interview recently that in the first hour it felt weird, having us all stare at him while he let go off his emotions, but then it was okay. It was really very intimate. I hope my report can bring it over a bit.
