I have been there for a while but only now figured out how to post content from a computer as I don't own a smartphone. And how to interact with people. Found some nice creative ones already.

Oh, so you finally decided to get an Instagram account. How do you find it?

I had the account for a while and was able to like and reply to people, but felt sorry for my 5 followers (all which I have on Facebook or Twitter as well so it was not such a big loss) as I had only managed to post 5 pictures before Firefox made an update that destroyed my add-on that I used. I don't have a smartphone and you only can upload from smartphone but not from computer.

But now I found a backdoor and started continually uploading all my old (and new) pics and have found some great new friends that are also very creative and happy to communicate and we inspire each other. That means a lot more likes and feedbacks than on Livejournal but also more verbal feedback than I get on Tumblr for example where you rarely get a comment.

So yeah, I like it. I only follow people who only post figure / toy pictures and nothing else. On Twitter it's more a mix and you have to take the boring pictures with the few funny ones.

I still have a lot of followers and friends that I have on other platforms too but as long as they don't find it boring to see the same stuff everywhere I don't mind! I don't know if Instagram also has such algorythms that only shows you half of what people post or in the wrong order? If they don't have that then I can see people preferring it over Facebook, and I hear even Tumblr is like that now. Twitter as well.

The only downside is that there is no way to reblog. On Tumblr I love to reblog stuff that I really like, and give a page a boost when they deserve it. But Instagram does specifically not want that. I have no idea why.

There is a lovely girl doing wonderful Gotham and other pics, I linked her on Twitter and got some famous likes for her (I asked before if she allows). I wish she would start posting on Twitter as there you seem to be able to communicate with actors more, when they reply or like or retweet. I'm not sure if they do the same on Instagram. With Sean his IG pics are sometimes more private and family and he does not always link them on Twitter. But I have met some people I would have not met otherwise and for that it's a win!

What's funny, yesterday I liked a bunch of figure pictures that made fun about weed and today I have four follower who have weed in their title and it's all they post about. Not sure why they would want to follow me, or how they found me LOL
