Ice-skating in Dresden

Today it's raining - but one week ago it was so cold that I went ice-skating on a lake in the middle of the city. We do have this huge park and in the middle of it there is this Palais and a lake with a fountain and swans in the summer. Here are a few pictures:

Looks like fun! *g* Our weather had been alternating between cold and clear and warm and rainy. It got cold enough last week for people go out on the lake but this week it's half melted.

Pretty. We've had some sledding here, but no skating. It keeps warming up long enough to make the ice too thin.
