Bear with me - we are so deep down in a valley that we seldomly get snow and when we do, it never stays long so I am always getting quite exicted about it.

The first pictures with the sunshine and the walk along the river Elbe I took back in January. Three weeks ago, in February, I photographed the crocuses where the snowmen had been. And last week I suddenly awoke to a beautiful winter landscape and the poor crocuses barely got their head out of the snow. But every tree and every fence on my way to work was worth a picture. Sadly, it didn't last, in the evening it was thawing again and it's long gone now.

As usual, many more pictures under the cut!

It was very wet snow and so it was laid on trees very thickly. Sadly, it didn't last, in the evening it was thawing again and it's long gone now.
