I'm famous part.... I lost track

I have just been told that on Saturday, at Fedcon, where some of my old funny Stargate videos were played at the big screen while we were waiting for the panel of the three SG-1 members Richard Dean Anderson, Amanda Tapping and Michael Shanks, they have seen and commented on them in the other room (there was a screening to a second room because so many wanted to see the panel). How cool is that? Now I wish I had been in the other room!

If anyone wants to see them, they are in German but do have English subtitles and I am happy to share via PM if you promise not to upload them anywhere. We might want to wait a few days as the traffic is high at the moment, lots of people have contacted me about them. It was great to sit there and hear their laughter, many apparently didn't know them before (I feel old, with one I have even won a video contest at a convention years ago)

Eee, that's SO exciting! I've always wondered what it would be like if one of the actors from the show I've vidded were to see my vid. Congratulations, that's awesome! :D ♥♥♥

Thank you! I have more information now, and they did not see all, just the last one, they came into the room when the Holzmichel was screening (without sound), and RDA read the subtitles and played along, was sad when he "died" and happy when he was alive again LOL Still, great honour.

I don't think you need to know the series to get them. I just tried to find funny scenes for the lyrics. It's not meant to be serious. The "Maschendrahtzaun" is by a comedian who saw a woman in one of those court shows in TV. She complained about her neighbours bush growing into her wire mesh fence. He made a full song out of it. In the original video, you see her saying her famous line. I found a scene from Stargate, where the lips movement fit perfectly.

The Holzmichl is one of those party songs nobody likes but still gives you an earworm. When it is said that the Michl is still alive, you should jump off your seat and throw your arms into the air ;)
