I hadn't planned to, but after the Amanda Tapping panel I spontanously decided I need a new picture with Amanda Tapping. I have one with her back from German City Con 2003 but I'm not looking too good on that one. THE HAIR!!! LOL

So, this one is much better. I asked for a hug:



Also, at the autograph session I gave her my little photoalbum with the Stargate action figures in Vancouver and she really liked it and looked a bit through it:



Also, she is on first place (of 22) of the favourite Fedcon guest, well deserved:

Thank you! I haven't exactly kept up with her either, I tried "Sanctuary" but didn't really like it, and I have never watched "Supernatural", where she is now in.

I watched Sanctuary only to support her. Is she still on Supernatural?

So, what do you think about Sanctuary? Should I have stuck with it? I only made it a few episodes. My brother said it got better later.

From the questions at the con, Helen seems an interesting character, similar to Jack Harkness, with all the living for centuries and all the problems. I never made it that far though.

No idea about Supernatural, I don't watch the show, and we are years behind on German TV, my brother hasn't spotted her yet.

I thought Sanctuary was great when it was a web series. But when it stretched to an hour series, I was bored. I began making "bets" with a friend whether or not Will would take his shirt off in the ep. (He almost always did and I did not care for his character at all. He was supposed to be a newbie and suddenly became an expert. Ugh. I did like Henry though.)

Supernatural might be too gory for you but the brothers are great eye candy and there's humor and pop references throughout the show.

I think I only saw the first two episodes, which were kinda a remake of the web-series to make the pilot or something? Not sure but it did not really appeal to me and then I forgot to tape it in the next weeks. Why spend time with boring stuff when there is so much else to watch.

LOL I don't watch shows for the eye candy. Not inititally. I start to watch it because the plot interests me but in the end keep watching if there are great characteres (which was what made me fall in love with the SG-1 team) and actors. I stuck with "Lost" till the end even though I had no idea what it was all about but I loved the characteres. Other shows I loved was "Desperate Housewives" or "Eureka" or "Queer as Folk" or "Six Feet Under". Not necessarily Sci-fi or Fantasy. My recent new fandom is "Arrow" as you might know, which took me totally by surprise. Also I recently discovered "The Americans", which I can highly recommend if you don't know it!

Having said that, my brother sometimes gives me a "Supernatural" episode when he thinks I might like it. I saw the one where they were stuck in a time loop, also the one where they were at a Supernatural convention with crazy fans and I loved especially the one where they jumped through a window and ended up on set in Vancouver and everyone thought they were the actors. And Misha Collins tweeted all the time and at the end was killed by a monster. I love episodes that poke fun at themselves. I recently watched "Wormhole X-treme" again and it was hilarious.
