[livejournal.com profile] sgamadison asked to post something, so I am posting something ;) I bought this at Pollock's Toyshop in London, in Covent Garden, which has lovely old fashioned toys. Have a look when you are in the area! I already had loved this last year, but didn't have the money with me (60 GBP) but this year I went for it.

We do have: Zebras, hippos, peacocks, kangaroos, lions:

Crocodiles:

Giraffes, elephants, polar bears, gorillas:

Noah and his wife:

These are tiny and cute, you have no idea how tiny they are! To show you, I laid a match for comparison. Also, note the butterflies on the roof of the ark:

So, well worth the money, eh?

Wow, until you used the match, I thought they were much bigger! How cute!

That's why I used the match - and kept it as a surprise till the end LOL Guess it worked.

I love tiny stuff like that. I could let my figures play with it...

I bet you were surprised how small they were! They look much bigger from my close-ups. I really love them and am happy I finally got them. Sometimes you have to treat yourself.

I keep expecting the Tardis to land and the 11th Doctor to ride one of the giraffes LOL!

LOL Great idea! I'd need a smaller Doctor then though. Or a bigger giraffe. These are really tiny.

I could only let him play with it, like a toy...

do all the animals (and people) fit inside the ark? i mean, is it like a storage thing for them? some do that, but this ark looks a little small for all those critters!

It's a good question and yeah, usually they do fit, but not this one. The ark should be bigger for that. So, I guess none of the animals were saved! Noah built it wrong!
