And this is what I needed that selfmade fireplace for! It's for the March competition in the Sixth Scale FB group with the theme "Dancing".

In my mind, Jack and Ianto rehearse at home for their wedding dance...

Very interesting what a difference a few well placed electrical tealights and candleholders make! I really should not put my Christmas decorations too far away. They certainly come in handy. But it is very straining, as I have to hold one in the air to light the faces, and photograph with only one hand. I did the first pictures in the afternoon but was not satisfied so waited till it was dark outside and did it again. The red one is what I posted in the contest. Two more (blue and green) under the cut.

Thank you! In my mind, they are all alive and well and still having many adventures.

Do you listen to the Big Finish audioplays? After a long dry spell, at least this is new Torchwood.

And I don't know of you follow John Barrowman on Facebook, but he recently posted a few videos where he watched the first TW episode and commented in between and you could see how emotional it made him and he also said that this is good stuff and there should have been more.

AND he said there is a reason why he watches it! My guess is that he and Carole might write for Big Finish? I don't dare to hope for anything else, but you never know! Maybe the audioplays being so successful can lead to something else.

I love audio dramas and somehow I missed these Torchwood ones. I've never heard of Big Finish before as I usually get audio books/dramas from either Audible.com or iTunes. I must check them out. Thanks for the heads up!

I refuse to go near Facebook so I miss out on a lot of things but it's a personal choice and I'm ok with it.

Big Finish is very famous for keeping the Doctor Who light on after it was originally cancelled in the Eighties. A lot of the older Doctors got constant work there, and the newest addition are River song and also the Tenth Doctor and Donna. Can't wait for those to come out.

The Torchwood line started last year in September, you could pre-order since May. You can order single pieces or the whole series - they are all connected in a way. The first series was 6 episodes and the second series will start in March.

It's not really a play with the whole Torchwood team, there is either Gwen or Ianto or Jack or Yvonne plus guest actors but it's still very nice.

This is their website: https://www.bigfinish.com/

You can order CDs or downloads.

Do you also know the other Torchwood radio plays with full cast that have been done before? Here is a list of everything that's available:

You're welcome! Also, as it turned out now, the reason why JB was watching old Torchwood was not that he's writing for Big Finish, but him and Carole are doing official Torchwood comics now! I think the first one is supposed to be out these days / soon. I already saw several cover variants. Hard to decide which one to get.
