It’s Oktoberfest time! My figures enjoy their beer and pretzels. I even have a brass orchestra!

The houses in the background are cardboard packages for wine bottles. I’ve kept them for many years.
Because of her costume Astrid always ends up as a serving lady in my pictures. Sorry Astrid! And the guy next to her looks as if he already had enough ;)

Jack brought both his old and new boyfriend - will that work out? Reason for more beer on John’s part, I guess.

For some odd reason Oktoberfest is indeed in September. Don't ask me why! Maybe it is to welcome October? It started last weekend with a big parade and will go till next weekend. Although I hear this year it is not so full as in other years. I mean, it's understandable, with pictures like this: https://twitter.com/Dietmar_Bauer/status/777440672945242112

The band members were chosen for who had the best hands to hold the instruments. The lady in the band is from Primeval. I bought some Primeval figures just to get these cool computer screens that came with them. I've never even watched the show! I tried to use some less well known figures, just ordinary people, not necessarily the Doctor. If you look with sharp eyes, you will see Eleven even in two incarnations ;) But when I saw the raggedy Doctor while looking through my figures, I couldn't resist LOL He's perfect for the drunken man!

Would have been even nicer if Astrid wore a Dirndl ;)

Thank you! The "drunk Doctor" actually is the freshly regenerated Doctor. This is still Ten's pants and shirt he is wearing, he only later got his own costume. This is right from the first episode with Eleven. For some reason, his TARDIS went out of control and crashed, and he stumbled out of the ruins, looking like that. When I found him in my box, I couldn't resist using him ;)

The guy with River (as well as the lady in black from the brass band) are figures from "Primeval". I once bought them just because they came with cool computer accessories. I never even watched the show.

I just wanted some ordinary people that are not easily recognizable.

This figure is called "faceless grandmother Conelly". It's from season 2, with Ten and Rose. Where the people lost their faces by watching TV or something? And she was hidden upstairs so they would not take her away? I have actually a second head without a face for changing.

She did not come with the broom, that was added by me.
