At work we were asked to clean some shelves. A co-worker found this architectural model and asked if I had use for it. Of course I have! It's very small but I still love it. You even can take off the roof!

It stands 8" / 20 cm high so it will be too small for my regular figures but I also have smaller figures it might work with. And I need to give it a little color.

I live in a very similar house you know, so that makes it even more special to me.

Trying to think what to use. I think watercolor might warp the paper, so probably only crayons.

It's similar to the one I live in. Now you can imagine! Our's is a bit smaller but the style is the same.

Cool. I love how there are visible floor plans when you take off the roof. Too bad it is smaller than you reg figures. Still I'm sure you will have hours of fun with it.

I think they just printed the architectural plans, and those have beds and sofas and toilets and all in them. The plans that I am drawing at work, are only about the important things like walls and pillars.

Yes, I will most certainly find a use for it! Would be a shame to throw away.

You're so lucky to have received this! Even if you can't find figures that fit, you can just display this unpainted piece itself at a corner of your home that fits the theme or colour scheme of the background wall. I see so much potential with this!

Hey, welcome to my page, hope you like it here! Sorry for the late reply but I was in London for the past week.

I have it stored away in its box so it won't gather dust. Not much space left in my apartment to display anything. But I love that it excites you so much!

May I ask what brought you here and to this particular post pf all?

Greetings from Germany!

Yeah I understand, things pile up, so from time i'll clear things too. Not Marie Kondo extreme though xD

Oh, for a period of time livejournal actually sends newsletters with top posts. Yours, this particular post, was inside. But the thing is, I didn't have the time to read emails until recently, I just kept them waiting to clear someday, which I did. Glad to chance upon after all, and greetings from Singapore?

Where are your usual readers from?

Hi! Just found this old comment, I'm sorry I never replied! So much has happened since. I hope you are well!

You asked where my usual readers are from. I wanted to point you to the flag counter at the right side of my LJ but apparently that feature seems to have gone :( It was great, last time I checked I had readers from 128 different countries! Some really small ones like only isles. It was amazing to see!

Greetings from Germany!

Hey no worries, I'm glad you saw and took the effort to reply! I myself have missed out (unconsciously and consciously) stuff from years back but when I finally am able to, e.g. found/have time/right moment, I will take action too.

I hope covid has treated you well and that you are safe where you are. Has anything changed for you since covid started?

Oh wow yes I saw the flag counter so cool! Currently 84 from SG. I want to try it for my livejournal too, I shall get to it as soon as I can, hopefully not another half-decade >< But anw I think for most of mine the would be bots lollllll. I use google analytics, do you?

I'm happy the flag counter is still there! That is weird - when I click on this post at my work computer I can see it, but not here from home. Maybe I need to update my internet browser or something.

No, I don't use anything else. I loved the flag counter to see all the flags, and if you have it installed you also can click it to see other statistics, like which day the most people came etc.

There you also see the total amount of views, but next to the flags only new people are counted, so not if the same one comes back each day. They're counted only once. So overall, my total number is quite impressive, isn't it? I never would have thought my funny pictures with action figures would interest so many people.

If you want to install it, it is just a link that you copy into the sidebar feature on your LJ. That's it.

Yes, thank you, me and my family are careful and safe. If I am honest, not much has changed for me, since I never was one that often went to restaurants or clubs. I don't mind staying at home watching lots of TV series.

Have you seen the new "Around the World in 80 Days" with David Tennant? It's sooo goood!

The only thing I am missing is traveling, I often went to the UK for concerts, theatre or also conventions where I would met the actors and take pictures with them. They are still doing conventions but I am too afraid to go in these times as there are huge crowds.

Yes, most likely it has something to do with the browser, perhaps some flash function is not compatible anymore.

I've since tried it for my livejournal and thanks for the new tip! I didn't know I could click it and straight away went to try xD It's currently small and cool and adds some life to my page haha. Yes indeed your number for unique users is impressive, I think your content is niche in a niche platform and that's very appealing! It helps that livejournal recommends posts so people not into action figures like myself will stumble upon here :D

No I've not seen the new Around in 80 days but I've just googled it, thanks for the recommendation! I am a homebody too although I like to consciously schedule in things that I might want to try and do, so like recently I just booked lunch for 26 Feb, it's a long time away I know but that's how I can get myself to go ahead with plans.

Yes crowds are a common concern and I'm not sure currently how strict the organisers and attendees are in adhering to distancing rules. Oh yes I've clicked on some of the tags with actor names and saw your photos, it's such a fun thing to do if the interactions were pleasant, your ones with Vic Mignogna are highlights!
