Now I'm curious where your computer prop is from :) It's quite elaborate, but also a desktop, with I think floppy drives? It's got to be fairly old!

It is actually a radio! What you call floppy disk is the on-off switch, the screen is the speaker, the wire at the back is the antenna, and the mouse is for switching channels, that's why it is so big.

At least 20 years ago a man would come monthly to our office, bring stuff like funny toys or books, and then we had a week to look at them and if we wanted to buy something put our name into a list. That's where I bought this for my brother.

I also once bought a plush hamster who sings the song "Everybody does Kung-Fu fighting" while whirling kung fu sticks. Too bad it's broken now and we never took a video of it. I've never seen it since. But there are still some of these computer radios on Ebay, I have given the links to a few other action figure lovers who asked for it.

Ha, yes, I think I saw the black gi ones around as well -- I think they were part of the same line. They were very cute!

It brought another fond memory of the scene in hospital where our heroes save Chekov from "primitive medicine".:-)
