Hiya yourself!
Admittedly, there is not much of Dr. Who yet - will you check out the Torchwood ones as well? I am only just starting, have been a Stargate fan for years, so that is why there are more of those. But don't be shy to check out the SG ones as well, I usually explain very well what can be seen on the pictures, so even if you don't know the show you should understand them, and most are also just fun, playing in the snow, baking pizza, relaxing on the beach or other private things, rather than going on missions.

I wish you fun going through all the entries, and if there was a feedback or two, I certainly would not mind!

Hi Dieastra. Yes, I think you will have to choose a new layout, and when you do, you will see the option to have a sidebar on the right or the left or one on each side. Whichever you choose, your tags will go there.

I'm guessing you figured out your master list? I just made a sticky post (or post-dated entry), like the one you have here with the links to all my fics. Is that what you meant?

I hope this helps. Changing your layout here is very similar to changing it at LJ. I haven't figured out yet how to do a custom layout though.

Oh, I see what you mean now. If you go to "customize your theme" after you select your new layout, you will see "links list" and that is where you can add your links. I don't know if you can add the flag counter here, but if so it would probably be under "customize your theme" also. Good luck!

*waves* hi! Didn't know I could find you on here, too. So are you crossposting everything that's on lj onto dw, too? In that case the decision if I want/need to keep my lj just got a whole lot easier :D

I love it! Completely impressed! I sent you an email about John and going to Cardiff and London for his performances, hope you got it!

Yes, I got the mail and just replied! Glad you like my page! When you click the "John Barrowman" tag on the right side where the list of tags is (under the flags) you will see all posts I ever did about John.

When you click "Cardiff 2010" and "Cardiff 2011" you will see reports about concerts. Same with Glasgow and all the convention links. And I think you saw the action figure stories!

Welcome, welcome! You have come to the right place! Everything is in here. I only upload once in a while on AO3, but here it is all sorted neatly by fandom. Enjoy!

It's possible that there will be some broken links which still have the Photobucket link. I had started to re-upload these somewhere else but since I have so many new ideas all the time I haven't finished this yet. So if you encounter something you want to see but can't, just give me a shout!

As I just said on AO3, Stargate is where it all started. My first fandom. I was not even a sci-fi fan before. I only came into it because I loved Richard Dean Anderson as MacGyver. I had not expected to fall so hard for the show. My first fanfictions (reading and writing, learning English by reading English ones) and conventions.

And I invited friends and we played with figures together. My Stargate pictures do look a bit dated now, as I did not have as many accessories and nice backgrounds as I do have now. And you learn a thing or two about which angle to photograph as well. I have been doing this since 2006 now. So there is lots for you to go through!

You said that you also have figures, what fandoms do you have?

And I just realized that I did not yet put the new Orville list into this post. Because I also have some Orville pictures! I'm desperately waiting for official figures so in the meantime I made my own Ed. You can find the pictures here:

Blast from the past!

Hi Astra!

Way back in 2005, we bonded over SG1 and shared correspondence! I betaed a couple of stories for you. I came across some email messages in my Yahoo account and thought I'd touch base. So glad to see you are still doing your amazing work with your miniatures! Love the latest ones you posted from Voyager (another favorite program for me). Also glad to know that you are doing well in these uncertain times. Take care!

Hi Cori! Now that's really a blast from the past! So happy to hear from you! I do think from time to time about the many wonderful discussions we had, that went way beyond betaing. You teaching me about zines, and me writing that long East Germany essay, if I remember correctly.

I am also happy to report that I have published many stories now where I did not need to ask the help of a beta at all, and when I did, it was only small things they had to correct (mostly the right order of words in a sentence, I do struggle with that a bit)

I also have come a long way since then with my figures! Better accessories, better backgrounds, better photographing skills, wish I already had that in Stargate times. Been in many fandoms since (and added figures every time LOL) and am currently trying to make may way through all Star Trek. I started with Enterprise now and I do love it (so you may see pictures of that as well in the future), but I doubt any other ST show will blow me away as much as Voyager did. I certainly did not expect that.

It is very similar to Stargate in the family feeling and great characters, and why has nobody told me about this before ;)

The fun thing is, that a new friend who is a Scott Bakula fan, now watches Stargate SG-1 for the first time because of my insistence and loves it too, and I started to do the rewatch I have been thinking about for years, and am falling in love all over again with this show. And therefore also thinking of all the good times I had with friends. So your timing couldn't be better!

You're not following here though, are you? I'm afraid I never understood this whole EXT thing. I'd love to reconnect, I'm sure we have lots to talk about. You can also find me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, as it says in the post, if you prefer that. Or maybe I just should go and see if I can find your e-mail address in my computer. It must be there somewhere.

I hope you are well?

Hi Astra,
Great to hear from you! Yes, social media has come a long way since we first "met" up. I don't do Twitter, Instagram or Live Journal. I'm on Facebook so we could connect that way or I could send you an email with the address I have for you and see if you receive it. I'll do that now and we'll see what happens.

Take care!
Cori
