This video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pv4E0N-d_NU reminded me that I also once let the team dance. Jack was standing with his arm up and one friend commented that with "Night Fever". First we giggled, then we set up the following scene.

This is Jack in the Night fever pose.
Hier Jack in seiner Night Fever-Pose.

Not sure what Sam and Teal'c are doing - Square dance? Waltz? It's hard to tell!
Was machen Sam und Teal'c da? Square Dance? Walzer? Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher!

Daniel and Cameron try the "Lady Bump"
Daniel und Cameron versuchen es lieber mit "Lady Bump"

But Thor has the best part I think. Just what exactly is he looking at?!?
Thor hat wieder mal den besten Platz - wo genau schaut er eigentlich hin?!?

Date: 2009-08-07 10:49 am (UTC)This is just so cute but didn't anyone notice Jack doesn't have a partner? I'm first in line for the next dance with him!!!!! Don't anyone dare try to cut in line cause I have my zat handy. (I really do! It's in Jack's hand and Jack is on my nightstand.)
*realizing what I just said and flying out of room to get IPod and Jack to dance to my heart's content*

Date: 2009-08-12 09:50 pm (UTC)The reason Jack has no partner is that these pictures were made years ago, when there weren't many figures out yet. The only other one I could have paired him up with would have been a Jaffa or an Ori prior and I don't think he would have liked that... in fact, we did another picture set following this, where everybody got a partner, and of course the shippers did a Sam/Jack there. Must go searching for those.
And I am still hoping to see one day a picture of your nightstandJack ;)
Saying Hi and all that!
Date: 2009-08-09 03:44 pm (UTC)I'm back from vacation at last and have finally got around to catching up with the fun on your LJ. I wanted to while I was away but had some issues, one of which was my laptop dying on me, ack!
I love the team dancing and Jack on the beach is great. Replicator?! LOL. All that stuff about the Obama visit is amazing. I know that's old news now but better late then never... Yikes!
So you are famous, eh? Brilliant. I adore your Obama doll. No wonder you drew so much attention. Very cool. I imagine you were thrilled, and so you should be! It's terrific stuff. :-)

Re: Saying Hi and all that!
Date: 2009-08-15 05:19 pm (UTC)And I'm always happy to hear about feedback, be it old news or not. Last weekend we had a family reunion and several people approached me who had seen me in TV or they even did cut my picture from the newspaper, to give it to me. Nice!
I admit though that I placed myself near the TV cameras, throwing out the bait so to speak. And they all bit ;)
As for logging into LJ, there is a button with "forgot the password", then they will send your password to your e-mail. Don't you see it? I also saw another button in case you even had forgotten your username LOL
Please play around a little, so that I can see your "face" next time.

Date: 2012-03-21 06:47 am (UTC)GET IT TEAL'C & SAM!
Daniel & Cam are trying to be cool, but still herpin & derpin.
Thor, you're blocking my view of Vala.
This is amazing. I don't know why I'm just now discovering it, but thank you for this. Thank you.

Date: 2012-03-21 08:37 am (UTC)This particular story wasn't my doing alone, sometimes I meet up with friends and we start to get silly ;)
May I ask how and where exactly you discovered me? I see you know
If you haven't followed the Stargate action figure theatre tag yet to discover more, I also do have a masterlist with all stories here:
http://dieastra.livejournal.com/24280.html
Since "Stargate" left our screens I am dabbling now in the "Doctor Who" and "Torchwood" fandom. Found lots of my old SG-friends over there. Not that I want to missionize you, but especially the latter remidnds me a lot of the SG-team, it's also a team in an underground base fighting aliens while the rest of the world shall not know about it, and it is set in nowadays Cardiff.
You might at least want to check out my recent story, as it also has Mulder&Scully, as well as guest actors from other series:
http://dieastra.livejournal.com/39004.html
And if you still want more, there is also a multifandom action figure theatre community, with more Stargate stories by other people, as well as many different fandoms here:
http://action-tales.livejournal.com/
I'm stopping selling you stuff now, sorry ;)
Greetings from Germany

Date: 2012-03-22 08:59 am (UTC)I'll probably make some sort of attempt at action figure crack mayhem with my 7" Vala & 12" Daniel one of these days. (I'd love to have even a used, unboxed 7" Daniel if anyone's selling one. Or even a head I can put on another body.)
As for pimping your stuff, I Tweeted the link to your custom Brigadier General Jack O'Neill:

Date: 2012-03-25 04:32 pm (UTC)And yes, I remember now, the Daniel-Jack-vacation story. Please forgive me, with my recent fame I got so many great comments, that I lost track of all the names.
Thank you also for letting me know about the tweets, it's always interesting where my stories end up.
There's no 6" Daniel Jackson out there? I'm sure there is. What you mean surely is for a reasonable price, right? I was very lucky to get those when they first came out, for their original price of 17 Dollar or so. I even got the blue Daniel that came with the Atlantis figures for cheap from ebay.
I just did a quick search for you. There really doesn't seem to be much at ebay at the moment, but you really should not give up and have a look around very often. Just recently my friend got the whole green SG-team plus the Stargate and some more for a cheap price - cheaper than what I have paid for everything in single.
What about this desert camo Daniel - would you consider that still a reasonable price?

There is also a green one at Amazon.uk but I have no idea how much shipping from there is:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Stargate-Daniel-Jackson-Action-Figure/dp/B000HIDH7I
Clearly out of range but I still link it anyway is this blue Daniel.
http://www.pronto.com/product/black-ops-daniel-jackson-case-p_1569774600
The description said black ops but this definitely is the blue, as the black ops looks like this:
http://www.amazon.com/Stargate-Daniel-Jackson-Action-Figure/dp/B000PK4ZN8
Edit: Found a cheap blue one at Amazon.com:
http://www.amazon.com/Diamond-Select-Stargate-Atlantis-Limited/dp/B00125MR6W/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1332693234&sr=8-6
Or if you are VERY creative you could buy this cheap unpainted figure and paint it yourself. I'd say that is a very good price:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Stargate-Black-Ops-Daniel-Jackson-Variant-Figure-Diamond-Select-/230765088317?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35baabce3d
There is another one here:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Stargate-SG-1-s3-Black-Ops-Daniel-Jackson-Chase-figure-/130612159331?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e69176363
I hope my links help a bit! In any case I am looking forward to your contribution. The more the merrier. Cheers!

Date: 2012-03-26 10:00 pm (UTC)As for Jack, Sam, Teal'c and Cam... maybe you search for ebay posts where they are sold together. I think I saw a few yesterday. Surely will be cheaper than buying all in single. Especially Jack goes for quite high prices as well.
Oh, wait, what about this one? This is the free Comic book day figure (was my first ever) and for a wonderful price!
http://www.amazon.com/Stargate-SG-1-ONeill-Exclusive-Bagged/dp/B0050LLC9M/ref=sr_1_46?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1332798903&sr=1-46
It comes with P90, radio and not sure if there was anything else.
And this is the cheapest Teal'c I can find - you even get an additional Daniel. Guess this pack was not quite the seller.
http://www.amazon.com/Stargate-Season-Daniel-Tealc-Figure/dp/B0044U8ZUE/ref=sr_1_26?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1332798903&sr=1-26
Well, as you can see, ebay and Amazon are your best bets. Just stay away from a website called Starstore. They claim they have everything but when you order then they say they don't have it. Why not take it off the site then?
Sorry, I'm rambling. I could talk action figures all day long, as you probably guessed. Looking forward to whatever Vala will do with her Daniel ;)
(I once saw someone re-creating that scene from "Prometheus")
