And finally, Louise Brealey, better known as Molly Hooper. Finally someone of the same size like me ;) She is doing a play at the moment so only could be there for the Sunday. She was so busy doing pictures and signing autographs all day long, that sadly her panel had to be skipped and Jonathan Aris had the stage for himself (they were set up together actually).

Hey, why did nobody tell me that the last picture I posted was huge! I thought I had them all downsized properly. Sorry for that. It's corrected now.

On we go with "Elementary" pictures, this one is Lars Mikkelsen who played Charles Augustus Magnussen in the third "Sherlock" season. And I thought he looked much younger in real life than in this role! Must have been the glasses.

At the photosession, I said, "Hi, I'm Antje from Germany" and he replied, "So we are neighbours!", since he is from Danmark.

Later I read in the convention booklet that he speaks several languages, and also German. So when I went to his autograph table, I asked about the German and he said, "Ich habe es in der Schule gelernt." (I learnt it at school).

You might also know his brother Mads Mikkelsen, who also is an actor.

And with that little movie and subsequent episodes, Anderson suddenly became the darling of the fandom. He said at the convention that he yet has get used to this, as before everyone hated him.

Here is my picture with him. After the first one was taken I noticed that I had blinked and asked the photographer and he checked and said: "You did indeed" and took another one. And Jonathan added: "Good for you!", meaning that I could stand there longer with him ;)

I also asked him at the autograph session whether he minded my hug, as pretty much everyone else just stood there with their hands at their sides. Guess I am too much used to pictures with John Barrowman... but Jon said it was fine.

This picture happened last weekend, at the Starfury Sherlock convention "Elementary". As usually, a lot of standing and waiting in line, but so worth it. Ladies and Gentlemen, here is Benedict Cumberbatch aka Sherlock aka Smaug aka Khan aka Julian Assange...

The Starfury "Elementary" convention which actually was a "Sherlock" Convention was a wonderful opportunity to have a look at the creativity of fans. The first evening also the "Cycling Awards" ceremony took place at the hotel, and we saw lots of women in long gowns and men in tuxes and also Scotsmen in kilts. I'm not sure what those thought of all the people in deerstalker hats!

Sadly I did not take a pic of any deerstalker, but there were many. What I did find was Moriarty! Please click the LJ cut to see all the pictures:

I already bought one two weeks ago when he originally got announced, but before I was able to post about it in here the next day his PR people said they don't know about anything, and since then Starfury has worked hard to re-confirm it... and the signed contract has arrived now. I just booked my flights.

So, in two weeks I will fly to Birmingham to meet with Sherlock. Too bad the figures aren't out yet, I could have let them signed.

Anyone coming?
